WARRANTY STATEMENT

The DaheimLaden wallboxes (DaheimLader Smart and DaheimLader Touch) are sold with a manufacturer's warranty.
 

The following warranty conditions apply.
 

The manufacturer DaheimLaden GmbH grants a 2-year warranty on the product advertised with the warranty promise. The period for calculating the warranty period begins on the invoice date. The geographical scope of the manufacturer's guarantee extends to all countries of the European Union. 
 

Should material defects or manufacturing faults occur in the goods you have purchased during this period, the manufacturer as guarantor will provide you with one of the following services of its choice under this guarantee:

  • free repair of the goods or

  • free replacement of the goods with an equivalent item

Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage to the wallbox caused by

  • normal wear and tear (e.g. signs of use on the charging plug and cable due to use of the wallbox)

  • improper or abusive handling

  • Non-observance of any safety precautions 

  • Use of force (e.g. blows) 

  • Attempted repairs on your own initiative

  • Environmental influences outside the defined operating range and IP protection class

A prerequisite for claiming warranty service is that the guarantor is enabled to examine the warranty case (e.g. by sending in the wallbox with all its components). Care must be taken to ensure that damage to the goods during transport is avoided by using secure packaging. When applying for warranty service, a copy of the invoice for the consignment of goods must be enclosed so that the guarantor can check whether the warranty period has been observed. Without a copy of the invoice, the guarantor may refuse to honour the guarantee. You must also provide the name and address of the seller if this information cannot be found on the copy of the invoice. 

In the case of justified warranty claims, the warranty will be processed carriage paid for you in any case, i.e. the guarantor will reimburse any shipping costs for the outward shipment or provide a pre-paid return label. The guarantor does not assume any costs for the disassembly/assembly of the item. The warranty also does not cover consequential damage or damage occurring outside the wallbox.

If the purchased item is defective, you can contact us in any case within the scope of the statutory warranty, regardless of whether a warranty case exists or the warranty is claimed.
