Setting up the DaheimLaden app and the online portal in just 5 minutes.
Overview
Setting up the portal for new customers

The DaheimLaden app (iOS / Android) and the Daheimladen.com portal (accessible from any device with an internet browser) is an online web application for easy control of your EV charger. It offers helpful features such as starting or stopping charging sessions remotely and an overview of all charging transaction costs. For more information about your electric vehicle and less effort when tracking your charging consumption.
To make the setup in the portal easier for you, you will find a step-by-step guide below for orientation.
Creating a new account and registering your EV charger
After entering the URL www.daheimladen.com in your standard browser, you must first register a new account using your email address. To do this, click on “Register” in the top right corner and enter your details.

After successfully registering your new account, you can access the account settings by clicking the icon in the top right corner.

Have the software serial number(s) of your EV charger(s) ready in advance to link the charging station(s) with your account. You can find the number (S/N) on the LCD display of your DaheimLaden EV charger when using the DaheimLader Smart.

On the DaheimLader Touch, you can find the software serial number in the settings of the EV charger. To do this, tap “Settings” on the main screen and enter your PIN. Then go to the third page of the settings. There you will find the software serial number at the top under Station ID.

In the account settings, the software serial number of your EV charger can now be entered in the “Charging ID” field and an “Alias” can be assigned. The “Alias” is used to identify the EV charger and can, for example, be saved under the name of the user or a description of the location.
Finish your entry by clicking “Save.” If necessary, the entry can be removed again using the trash can icon.
For multi-EV charger management, additional EV charger serial numbers can easily be added or removed using the plus symbol. Use the arrow to return to the portal overview.
Setting the charging timer, charging power, and electricity price
By clicking on the “Settings” section in the lower control panel of the portal, you will access the individual settings of your DaheimLaden EV charger. Here you have the option to use a charging timer to conveniently control the start and stop of your charging sessions remotely. This can be particularly useful if you use a night-time electricity tariff. Although the DaheimLaden EV charger automatically adapts to your vehicle and can distinguish between single-phase, two-phase, or three-phase charging, the charging power can also be manually adjusted directly in the portal. However, the EV charger can only deliver the maximum charging power supported by your vehicle. Many plug-in hybrids, for example, charge on only one phase, which with an 11 kW EV charger usually corresponds to a maximum charging power of about 3.4 kW. In general, adjusting the charging power is not necessary and should usually remain unchanged. In the field below, you can enter your electricity tariff-based cost per kWh. Based on this value, the DaheimLaden portal will display the charging costs incurred for each charging session. If your electricity tariff changes, you can update the cost per kWh at any time in the portal.
Adding online RFID charging cards
Each DaheimLaden EV charger is delivered with 2 free online RFID charging cards, which must be registered in the DaheimLaden.com portal before use. By clicking on the “Settings” section, you will access the input field “Authorized cards,” where you can add or remove your online RFID cards if necessary. In addition to the charging card number, which can be read on the respective RFID card, you can also enter a custom name or note about the card usage under User/Alias. To enter the data, click on the pencil icon and finish the process by clicking “Save.” Additional cards can easily be added using the plus symbol and removed again using the trash can icon. To order additional online RFID charging cards, please contact our customer support or visit our online shop.
