In Click2Charge, you can set the maximum charging current in 1-amp increments for your charging station(s). This allows you to prevent overloads or use manual PV charging.

Prerequisites for Adjusting the Charging Current
You have the latest version of Click2Charge installed (check for updates in the App Store or Play Store).
You have successfully integrated your DaheimLaden EV charger into Click2Charge. Find a guide for this here.
How to Manually Set the Charging Current
Open the Click2Charge app on your smartphone and tap the “Charging Stations” tab in the bottom bar.
Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner and select “Home Functions.”
Tap “Protection.”
Tap the “Enable Protection” button.
Now you can set the maximum charging current for your EV charger(s). Select the appropriate ampere value and tap “Save.”
Controlling the Charging Current with Powerfox
After manually setting the maximum charging current, you can also activate an intelligent protection limit using a Powerfox device.
Follow steps 1–3 above to navigate to “Protection.”
Under “Intelligent Protection Limit,” tap the “Set Up” button.
Select “Powerfox” and tap “Next.”
Tap the “Connect Device” button.
Log in with your Powerfox credentials.
Note: If you’ve already integrated your Powerfox for PV surplus charging, select “Continue without Device” and enter the maximum charging current. Your Powerfox will then be automatically integrated.
