EV charger without a meter or with digital consumption monitoring

A calibration-law-compliant meter and a fully calibration-law-compliant EV charger are not the same. The meter is only one component. The display, storage and provision of measurements must also meet German measurement and calibration law.
This distinction matters when charging electricity is sold publicly or to changing third parties by the kilowatt-hour. The entire charging and billing solution must be planned accordingly—not just the meter.
