Invite new users via email or SMS
If you want to add new users to your EV charger, the best way to do so is via the app. To do this, go to the Click2Charge app on your smartphone and tap "Me." Scroll down and select "Teams," then select your "Personal Team" with the "Owner" label. Next, go to "Team Members." Here, you can easily add more users to your EV charger by clicking the "Invite New Member" button.
You can choose whether to add new users via email or phone. Enter the email address or phone number, select the access permissions and price group, and tap "Send invitation." You can also change the permissions and price group later.
The invited person will now receive an email or text message asking them to create their own account. Your new member can then select your "Personal" team from the drop-down menu at the top of the charging stations, view the charging stations included, and start charging sessions.
Tip: If your invited member should also be able to access the charging station via the web version of Click2Charge , for example to download CSV reports, you must authorize them as an admin .
Define price groups
Decide for yourself whether you want to make your EV charger available to other users free of charge or for a fee. You can also assign each user their own price group. To do this, you first need to create price groups. Go to Me -> Teams -> Personal Team and then "Price Groups for Members." You can add a new price group using the "Add Price Group" button. Give your price group a name and enter the price in euros for one kilowatt hour at your EV charger (Note: For example, if you want to charge 35 cents per kilowatt hour, enter 0.35 in the field). You can also create multiple price groups by repeating this step.
Manage members
Next, you can assign price groups to your members. To do this, go back using the arrow and select "Team Members." All your team members (including yourself) will be displayed here. Select a member to assign them a price group.
At this point, you can also remove the member from your team if necessary. They will then no longer be able to use your wallbox.
Tip: If your members want to charge with RFID cards, they must add the RFID card to their own account so that it can be assigned to the respective user in the reporting.
