Adding RFID Cards in Click2Charge

To use your RFID cards to authorize charging sessions with your home charger, you’ll first need to register your charger in Click2Charge. Once that’s done, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Click2Charge app and navigate to Me.

  2. Tap Wallet and Payments, then find Charging Cards RFID and tap the "+" button.

  3. Select Enter charging card number manually and input the card ID from one of your online cards (the ones with the green DaheimLaden logo).

  4. Assign a name to your card and select Link charging card.

  5. When prompted, enter your four-digit access code. If you don’t have one yet, you’ll be able to set it now.

  6. After adding the card, it will appear under Charging Cards, where you can also edit, block, or delete it at any time.

Pro Tip:If you want other users to have their own RFID cards, invite them to your personal team in Click2Charge. They can then download the app and add their own RFID cards using this same process. This allows you to track charging sessions separately for each user’s RFID card.

Important Notes:

  • Master RFID cards (with the black logo) cannot be stored in Click2Charge.

  • If you need additional RFID cards, you can purchase them from our online shop.
