Smart EV Charger FAQ

Is the Wallbox app free?

Yes, our Wallbox app is free when you purchase a DaheimLader Wallbox.

Can I use the app and a third-party home automation system simultaneously?

Yes, you can integrate our wallbox into your own home automation system and use our Click2Charge app in parallel.

Does the smart Wallbox need an internet connection?

If you want to use our Click2Charge wallbox app, your wallbox needs an internet connection. If you only want to control it via Modbus TCP, an internet connection is not strictly necessary.

What charging capacities are available for the smart Wallboxes?

Our Wallboxes are available with either 11 kW or 22 kW charging capacity. Our Wallbox with a legally compliant meter is only available with 22 kW.

Can I also charge and bill my company car using the DaheimLader Wallbox?

Yes, for this you need a DaheimLader Touch PRO with a MID meter or a DaheimLader Business with a legally compliant meter. You can then either download reports as PDFs in our Click2Charge app or start charging sessions with your fleet card and thus bill automatically.

Da meine Wallbox sich mehrfach aufgehängt hat und nur noch einen schwarzen Bildschirm zeigte, wurde auf Verdacht, weil der Fehler nicht reproduzierbar war, das Kommunikationsmodul getauscht. Soweit so gut. Allerdings wurde mir die Box zurückgeschickt mit dem Hinweis, dass das Passwort zurückgesetzt wurde und wieder den letzten 8 Stellen der Seriennummer entspräche. Leider stimmt das nicht. Jetzt habe ich eine Box zu Hause, die vor der Reparatur zumindest zeitweise funktioniert hat. Jetzt funktioniert sie gar nicht mehr, weil ich mich nicht einloggen und sie mit dem WLAN verbinden kann. Natürlich ist jetzt am Wochenende niemand aus dem Support erreichbar. Den Login hätte man doch mal kurz testen können… Update: Es wurde zeitnah gehandelt und meine Vermutung, dass die neue Platine eine andere SN hat als meine eigentliche Wallbox, ist bestätigt. Mit den letzten 8 Stellen der anderen Seriennummer klappt der Login. Fazit: bemühter Support, einige hick-ups, aber am Ende alles gut. Dennoch ärgerlich!

Nach eröffnen des Tickets am Samstagnachmittag erhielt ich bereits Montagmorgen 8Uhr eine Rückmeldung, die mein Problem lösen konnte. Toller Support, weiter so!

obwohl der Paketdienst im ersten Anlauf nicht leisten konnte , hat DAHEIMLADEN sofort eine weitere Box versendet somit konnte die Montage wenn auch einen Tag später durchgeführt werden. Zur Bewertung der Box selbst kann ich leider noch keine Angaben machen.
